All the chrome work is in excellent condition and free from any pitting. , Upon opening the door you are greeted by the beautiful Saville Grey Leather which really compliments the Diamond Blue paintwork. All seats are in fantastic condition with only very slight crease marks on the driver’s seat. The light grey carpets are again in fantastic condition having been fitted with original over carpets from new. There is no sag on the roof lining either. Sitting inside the car all the controls and switches are too hand, all the electric seat controls work including the heated seats and the air conditioning blows ice cold, ideal for them long summer drives soaking up the miles in this stunning sports tourer. , On turning the key the 5.3 V12 purrs into life and idles smoothly, select a gear and get out on the open road the Jaguar performs effortlessly and just eats up the miles. The car drives very well with precise steering and great suspension, as part of our preparation for sale the Jaguar had most of it suspension bushes replaced hence the great smooth ride which it has now. The gearbox changes up and down smoothly as it should and we have renewed the gearbox oil and diff oil as part of the preparation also. All in all this is a great running and driving XJS. , K792NML was supplied new by Harvey Hudson & Co ltd in Woodford London and looks to have stayed in that area until 1999 when it came to Lincolnshire.
